|Summary of thesis||
My thesis consist of the characterisation of the new incoming materials : the Dirac/Weyl semi-metal, also known as topological semi-metal. This materials have linear band dispersion, which act on the electron as if they doesn't feel their mass as the photon. To that extend I try to understand the electronic structure of my material by shining light on them and collect the light that is reflected. Every compound will reflect the light differently, by the analysis of the reflected light I can determined in a way my electronic structure and understand how the electron behave in my metal.
