Description | The workshop consists of 2 mini-courses each of 3 hours (2 x 90 minutes) given in parallel with a conference on this subject from 19-23 June archimede.mat.ulaval.ca/agirouard/Neuchatel2017/ These two courses will introduce some aspects of Gemetric Spectral Theory with a focus on the relation between this subject and two other topics: geometry of groups and PDE. The first course will be delivered by Norbert Peyerimhoff (Durham). It will relate some aspects of spectral theory and geometry of groups and will take place on Monday.
